Warranty & Returns Policy

 

RETURNS

Please choose carefully. We do not normally give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision. You can choose between a refund, exchange or credit where goods are faulty, have been wrongly described or are different to the product purchased on the website.

 

WARRANTY CLAIMS

All goods are supplied with a full 12 month warranty.  All items are covered by manufacturer’s warranty.  Where applicable, please refer to 3rd party manufacturer’s warranty terms.

We are committed to providing exceptional customer service and quality products.  We do not accept unauthorised returns and we are unable to authorise a return unless you have emailed or discussed the fault with our Technical Manager and obtained a RMA number.  If your product is eligible for return under Warranty, you will be allocated a RMA number which must be quoted on your RMA paperwork that accompanies your returned item. 

Proof of purchase, i.e. BOTH the tax invoice and delivery docket (with relevant serial number noted), must be provided with the returned item.  You must adequately package any product you are returning to ensure that it is not damaged during return delivery to our warehouse - failure to do so resulting in damage in transit may void the warranty.  All original items, e.g. power supply / accessories must be returned with the goods.  If you return a product to us for replacement and the product is capable of retaining user generated configuration, replacement of the product will result in the loss of the configuration.  We will not be responsible for any data you may leave on the product when returning a product to us for repair.

All freight of any warranty claim unit to Connected AV Service Agent is at the customer’s expense and responsibility.

We will confirm with you once your item has been received and will advise an estimated timeframe for the testing process.

If the goods are tested and deemed faulty, and meet warranty requirements, we will contact you to discuss your preference for replacement or refund.  Any refund we make will be by the same payment method used to purchase the product.  Connected AV will dispatch the goods back to you at our cost.

If the unit is deemed either not under warranty or out of warranty – you will need to arrange collection of the unit from Connected AV Service Agent.  A fee of $25 (ex GST) will apply where upon inspection there is no fault found with the equipment.

To assist our customers with the repair timeframe – resi-linx may be able to offer a loan unit. Alternatively, a refurbished replacement unit may be available to be purchased from Connected AV at a reduced rate.  This is aimed at reducing downtime for both installer and customer.
